Volunteer at Quiet Valley
Become an Integral Part of Our Historical Farm Museum
A non-profit organization such as ours would not be possible without a wonderful and active group of volunteers. Volunteer opportunities abound at Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm. Here you can work in a pleasant rural setting, enjoy the fresh air, the countryside, and get a little taste of farm life. There is always a chance to learn new things. At Quiet Valley, senior citizens, families, couples, teenagers, and individuals can all find a niche to fill. There is something for everyone!
We offer a variety of engaging tasks ranging in time commitment from an hour or two to those involving regular attendance and training such as assisting with tours. As a volunteer, you can gain knowledge and experience with public speaking, animal husbandry, heritage crafts, trade skills, folk art, agricultural history, and more.
Not really comfortable talking to the public or being in costume? No problem. We need help behind the scenes too! For more information about volunteering email: farm@quietvalley.org. Click here to download our volunteer brochure.
