Summer Tours

Experience life on a traditional 1800s homestead. Dressed in period clothing, interpreters portray members of the Pennsylvania German family who lived here in the 18th and 19th centuries. Typical farm tasks such as spinning and weaving in the cabin, hearth cooking and food preservation in the farmhouse, and animal husbandry in the barn are shown. Summer highlight demonstrations of heritage skills and crafts occur weekly, and Saturdays feature the bake oven. Download tour walking map here.
