Admission for the general public for a summer tour is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 3-12 years old. Admission is paid at the gift shop, a log cabin building on the right inside the gate.
Admission to the farm museum includes three Summer Events as well as special highlight demonstrations. Visit the Summer Highlights page to see what special activities may be taking place the day you want to visit. We recommend also visiting our Plan a Visit page.
During summer tours, discounts are offered for AAA, seniors (ages 62+), Blue Star Museum program for Military Families, or Time Traveler’s Museum partnerships. Discounts will also be available for groups of 20 individuals or more who book in advance. Only one discount can be applied.

*A number of our events are free for Members of Quiet Valley including summer tours, Farm Animal Frolic and Harvest Festival. Ice Harvest and Maple Sugaring are members’ only events and not open to the general public. Consider joining for a year of extraordinary experiences with a Membership to Quiet Valley.

Farm Animal Frolic The first event of the year is in May on Memorial Weekend and the weekend before from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and noon to 4pm on Sundays – Farm Animal Frolic
Quiet Valley is open to the general public this summer from the third Saturday in June through Labor Day. For 2020 tours times are – Tuesdays-Saturdays 10am to 4pm and Sundays 12pm to 4pm with the grounds open until 5pm. We are closed on Mondays with the exception of Labor Day. We recommend allowing 2 to 2 1/2 hours to experience all the museum has to offer.

Harvest Festival Quiet Valley’s largest event of the year is in October on Columbus Day Weekend Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm – Harvest Festival
The Spooky Days on the Farm event is held at the end of October – Spooky Days
Quiet Valley is closed to the general public during the winter months except for our annual Old Time Christmas event held the first two weekends in December with tours going out from 3pm to 7pm, last tour at 7pm – Old Time Christmas
