Visitors will see demonstrations of many different heritage crafts and trades\, as well as traditional methods of cooking and processing various food items. Experience activities common in the 1800s\, such as candle dipping\, scrapple making\, tanning\, leather work\, spinning\, weaving and more! Other highlights include one-room school presentations\, Civil War encampment\, folk entertainment\, refreshments\, quilt raffle\, wagon rides\, and children activities! \n\nAdmission: $18 Adults / $10 Ages 3-12\nDate: Saturday Oct 10th / Sunday October 11th\nTime: 10:00am – 5:00pm both days\nNo Smoking\nNo Pets\nPrices and schedules subject to change\n\n+ Visit our Harvest Festival Volunteer Page if you are interested in volunteering. \n(All funds raised support the mission of the non-profit farm museum)

SUMMARY:Spooky Days on the Farm
DESCRIPTION:Activities turn towards the things that go bump in the night around Halloween! \nOn Friday and Saturday nights put your detective skills to the test by helping solve a murder mystery! A guide will take you around the farm as you meet the suspects\, gather clues\, and more! This program takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours and tours are continuous. The last tour begins at 8:30 pm from the log cabin gift shop. Get into the haunted Halloween spirit with something more unique than just another haunted house. \nThis program is designed by a forensic specialist and includes discussions and depictions of death and murder. The farm is extremely dark at night and we encourage visitors to bring flashlights. Actors are not permitted to touch visitors. Not suitable for audiences under age 7. \n\nDate: Friday Oct 23rd / Saturday Oct 24th\nTime: Friday- 6pm to 8:30pm\, Saturday- 5pm-8:3opm\nAdmission: $18 Adults\, $10 Ages 3-12\n\nTickets will go on sale on September 1st.

He’s come before St. Nicholas to warn the naughty and reward the nice. Revel in the warmth of the potbelly stove alight in the one-room schoolhouse and join the sing-along of traditional carols. Marvel at the miniature village scene—the traditional Christmas Putz—in the Victorian parlor. \nStroll through the magical Christmas Tree Forest sponsored by Quiet Valley’s Members’ families and local businesses. Chime in to reward the most deserving decorative design. \nEnjoy complimentary hot chocolate or warm cider with homemade cookies to round-out this hour-and-half long journey through the customs of this 19th Century Pennsylvania German farm.
