 Felted Wool Feather Tree

DATE/TIME: Saturday December 5, 2020 from 9:30am to 2:00pm with a break for lunch
CLASS FEE: Quiet Valley Member $45.00; Non-Member $50.00
MAX # OF STUDENTS: 8
INSTRUCTOR: Claudia Hill

We will create a tabletop tree reminiscent of the feather trees originally created by German immigrants who used dyed green or natural goose feathers. The feathers were wrapped around stiff wire to become the branches of the trees. These branches were then attached to a wooden rod for the trunk. We will substitute felted wool for feathers. There will be several color choices to be determined when students arrive.

Instructor will provide all supplies for the trees. Lunch of soup, bread & dessert included.

Student must bring sharp scissors!! (I recommend Tim Holtz Non-Stick Serrated Snip Scissors-Ergonomic Large – Available at most craft stores)
