Admission for the general public for a summer tour is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12 years old. admission is paid at the gift shop, a log cabin building right inside the gate.
Admission to the farm museum often includes admission to Summer Events as well as special highlight demonstrations. Visit the Summer Highlight’s page to see what special activities are taking place the day you want to visit. We recommend also visiting our Plan a Visit page.
During summer tours, discounts are offered for AAA, AARP, seniors (ages 62+), Blue Star Museum program for Military Families, or Time Traveler’s Museum partnerships. Discounts will also be available for groups of 20 individuals or more who book in advance.

*A number of our events are free for Members of Quiet Valley including summer tours, Farm Animal Frolic and Harvest Festival. Ice Harvest and Maple Sugaring are members’ only events and not open to the general public. Consider joining for a year of extraordinary experiences with a Membership to Quiet Valley.
Visit the farm on Tuesdays November 2018 through March 2019 for a Winter Walking Tour. At 10:30 or 2:30 you can have a one hour tour of the farm as you visit the animals in the lower barn, learn about spinning and weaving in the Granddaddy Cabin and about everyday life in the 1800s in the Cellar Kitchen. Call ahead. $8.00 Adults and $4 ages 3-12. Buildings are unheated so dress for the weather and for outdoor surfaces. Weather permitting.
October through June
Quiet Valley is closed to the general public during the winter months except for Winter Tour Day Tuesday (see above), special events, and group tours. Special events include Farm Animal Frolic, Harvest Festival, Spooky Days, and Old Time Christmas.
Quiet Valley is open to the general public during the summer from the third Saturday in June through Labor Day on Tuesdays-Saturdays 10am to 5pm and Sundays 12pm to 5pm. We are closed on Mondays with the exception of Labor Day. We recommend arriving by 2:30pm to have enough time to experience all the museum has to offer. It will take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to see most everything.
