Quiet Valley offers a number of unique hands-on opportunities in a small groups or individual settings for all ages. These workshops offer a great opportunity for groups of friends, clubs, or you to learn a heritage craft or skill. No prior experience is necessary.
Workshops are generally offered for a basic fee with possible additional materials fees added. Some workshops are scheduled events while others are by appointment only.
Current workshops are constantly changing and updating throughout the year. This is a great opportunity to try something new in a fun and friendly environment.
Bake Oven Bread Making Workshops
Saturday August 10th or Saturday August 31st from 8:30am to 1:30pm
Learn about bread making and the use of an outdoor brick bake oven. A lunch made in the bake oven is included and attendees will each go home with a loaf of cottage cheese dill and a loaf of whole wheat bread. $40 per person; Spaces are limited so call the office at 570-992-6161 to sign up. 19th Century Days
April 16 & 17, 2020 – These two day workshops are great for children ages 6-18. No prior experience necessary, just an interest in history and working with their hands! Details in January.
